Hi Everyone !
The layout of the scenario compendium is finished and currently under review, it should be available on Backerkit next week in its PDF version. We are quite impatient to present you the elves and dwarves of our universe as well as the Readarn, the last culture of the Pact of the MIR!
You will alsa find at the end of the post a lore Excerpts about the Fate, the destiny makers of the Systerin Empire. More are to come so stay tuned!
We will also take this update as an opportunity to talk about the tariff situation.
First thing to say is … we are still finishing the creation of the books, so for now … We wait.
We will keep you updated with more online content as we are finishing them so you get things to read before the physical objects.
We obviously monitor the current situation as the climate is very volatile and shift from one week to another.
As such, it is currently quite difficult to forecast the impact on the campaign.
We have the chance to have a bit of time before printing. We will take this time to see how we can deal with this situation, hoping for a calmer period!
We will provide more details as soon as we have a clearer picture of the situation.
FATES
Fates are the most important servants of the cult of Unicity and the only ones authorized to connect to its network to deliver destiny to every citizen.
To be appointed a Fate is rare, and to survive training even more so: at a very young age, apprentices are implanted with a new organ, the “Moïra” gland, to connect to the network. Most succumb to the operation or go mad, shattered by the influx of information as the entity enters to commune with them.
Their order is divided into Initiated Fate, whose role is to deliver destinies to citizens, and Venerable Fate, whose experience enables them to interpret the network's decisions. The latter, by dint of sharing their minds with Unicity, are no longer quite human, and are worshipped as idols by the other citizens.
This prestige, as well as manipulating the network of Unicity, has enabled them to influence imperial policy far beyond their simple prerogatives. Wishing to limit their power, the Senate forced Fates to take a vow of poverty, and now authorizes the MIR to recruit them as agents. The Cult of Unicity considers this law to be heresy, but Fates have yet to react publicly...

Today we're revealing a new Trve Interview with Matt Elliott, a musician who is part of the line-up for the E.P. that will accompany the Core Book.
Like many people, I discovered Matt Elliott with the album Drinking Song while wandering on Youtube. Since then, his music has haunted me and accompanied my writing. It plays over and over again, forming a loop, drawing out the emotion I've been hiding deep down so that I can put it down on paper.
I've often been asked why MIR's characters are so damaged and neurotic. I don't have an answer: to me, they're honest, desperately honest.
A bit like the guy who's been crying listening to the same album for five hours.
Asking Matt to be part of the E.P. was an obvious choice for me, because even if he doesn't do Black Metal, or even Metal at all, Matt is at the heart of MIR's genesis.
He may not have written it, but he gave birth to it.
This video reflects our feelings. Simple, sensitive and unvarnished.
We hope this piece of intimacy will explain better than clumsy words the essence of MIR and what this project means to us.
TWO NEW TRACKS FOR THE “AT SHADOW'S GLORY” ALBUM!

Unlocked during the MIR: OATH campaign, two new tracks composed by the French Black Metal one-man band LIMBES have been added to the “At Shadow's Glory” album!
Available to all pledgers, these new ten-minute tracks are a culmination of the “At Shadow's Glory” scenario collection, and complete the eponymous album.
AT SHADOW'S GLORY: A haunting descent into darkness followed by a cold, saturated Black Metal explosion. The truth is exposed and the agents must face the consequences of their choices. The lyrics are taken from the scenario description “The Price of Freedom”, the centerpiece of the scenario collection.
This track is available with vocals and instrumental.
LYRICS (French) Souriez, c’était encore un mensonge. Détruisez tout. Saccagez la paix, piétinez l’espoir. Soyez cruel. Montrez la souffrance derrière l’aveuglement. Faites deviner l’espoir d’une révolution, La résolution d’un père et le courage de son fils. Rien n’est parfait, mais tout mérite d’être vécu.
ENGLISH VERSION Smile, it was a lie again. Destroy everything. Destroy peace, trample hope. Be cruel. Show the suffering behind blindness. Show the hope of revolution, The resolve of a father and the courage of his son. Nothing is perfect, but everything is worth living for.
CLÉDAÏS: An atmospheric track dedicated to Clédaïs, Prince of Ancyre, central character of the scenario “The Price of Freedom”. Melancholic, here we oscillate between light and shadow, lost between a dream of justice and the reality of ruling.
We're really proud of these new LIMBES works, and we hope you'll enjoy discovering them as much as we did.

Happy New Year Agents!
MIR is moving ahead with the translation of At the Poem Heart and the compendium scenario “At Shadow's Glory” - both should be available in February with locking of the Backerkit survey by mid-March.
These delays are due to a “slightly” busy end-of-year schedule, but should not be long in coming!
We're in discussions with printers to refine our delivery times, but recent changes in customs are pushing us to be cautious. Patience: we'll be there soon!
We'd like to thank you once again for your support and enthusiasm for MIR - this is just the beginning, and we look forward to seeing you join our community!
By the way: we do online games on the discord, and if you're not afraid of a French accent, we'd love to get you playing!
