about 1 year ago – Thu, Jul 31, 2025 at 10:25:50 AM

Hi everyone,

Here is the July Update !

The 3 remaining scenarios are complete and are being proofread. We should have them by August.

New premade characters and Civilization cards and all remaining items should be following soon after!

As most of the content is now in line of sight, we will close the backerkit survey next week (August 7th). Another check on the address will be made before sending the parcels.

We will now be finishing up the production step before giving you more precise dates concerning shipping.

Thanks again for your support !

June progress update
about 1 year ago – Mon, Jun 16, 2025 at 09:24:25 AM

Hello everyone,

We've fallen a little behind on project updates, busy working on the texts, so it's time: where exactly are we at?

We are currently finishing the last big chunk of the campaign: the agent's companion scenarios. Unlike the first two books, the four scenarios unlocked during the campaign are exclusive content created for the campaign. And... they are taking us a little longer than expected:

The first, “At The Poem's Heart,” has been proofread and translated, and is currently being laid out. It should be ready soon, along with the new pre-generated characters.

The other three scenarios have been written. We still have to test and translate them. This step is taking longer than we expected, but I'm very happy with the results and can't wait to share them with you.

We will need another month or two to complete the various elements that are still needed. I will give you another update next month.

As for supply, we are still thinking about the best way to navigate the new tariff environment, but we have some solid leads for getting our books to their destination. We will be making our first shipment to Europe and the United Kingdom, and we are currently working on a solution for the second shipment to the United States.

If you haven't been following our latest news, we also have set up a blog where you can learn more about the lore of the universe and the peoples of the MIR Pact:

See you soon, and thank you again for your support!

CENSORS OF THE SYSTERIN EMPIRE

Hierarchically below the Fate, the Censors choose the partners of imperial citizens immediately after their baptism of destiny. Reunited in couples, the children are anointed by the Censor using a chalice filled with black liquid, the same in which they will be immersed and dissolved upon their death. It is noteworthy that some citizens have no partner or may be forbidden to have a partner. Unicity and the Censors do not condemn any orientation, but if a citizen deviates from the one assigned to him, he suffers Stigmata.

While the Fate have the privilege of connecting to the Unicity Network, the Censors “feel its will” through the Moira gland. Invisible on the Fate, this organ grows to monstrous proportions in Censors, subjecting them to the entity's will. Whereas the Sage retains the free will necessary to interpret the network of Unicity, the Censors, permanently under its influence, lose their personality.

The Censors are the “network made flesh” as inculcated by the cult of Unicity, cold and analytical they dispense their judgments and remind citizens of the law. Where the Fate reside in the majestic Towers of Destiny, only accessible during baptisms, the Censors dwell in the Pools of Unicity, open to all at all times.

This proximity is relative though, as the basins are usually empty except during the second part of the Baptism of Destiny, considered a rather unpleasant formality. The Censors' obsessive logic and repulsive appearance make it difficult to connect with the public.
Ridiculed and caricatured as freaks, the Censors are nonetheless not without empathy and, by being attentive to both the people and the Unicity network, are veritable wells of wisdom.
